Belle Jolie can't believe the rubbish she's reading in a scientific magazine - an article about gremlins and other mythical creatures. Belle is not impressed with the article and laughs at how stupid it is.

Belle doesn't realise that a gremlin is actually in her house right now. A strange laugh makes her feel unnerved and when she goes to investigate, someone has put a mousetrap in her slippers. Belle yells and hops around clutching her sore toes, only to find that another mousetrap has been placed right underneath her already tender feet.
