Having a fuel gauge that does not read properly, and a car that never wants to start can be frustrating and unnerving at the same time. My old car is frustrating me as I try to get it started. Cranking the engine while pumping the pedal, begging and pleading, wishing it would start, I am trying to gently it to start while my foot is not so gentle. After finally getting it to start, I leave home (having to stay on the gas pedal to keep it going), and am heading to town.
