When the extremely-young Periphates (only step-son of the Greek God of Blacksmiths, Hephaestus - newly-born and barely three feet high) is caught on Mount Olympus taking the form of a bull and trying to mate with Hera, the all-powerful "Queen of the Gods" the other Greek gods have no choice but to punish young Periphates for his transgression. Deciding that exile to Earth (without his godly powers) for thirty days would be the best punishment for Periphates, they ask the upstart tyke where he would like to go. The bratty imp says that he wants to go to New York City if he's being to the Prime Material Plane... and that he wants a very *special* babysitter for this lengthy sojourn in the world of mortals, WONDER VIVIAN!

Our scene starts with Wonder Vivian (after being assigned to this mission by Hera herself) arriving at the hotel and resignedly taking a position on the luxurious bed for what will undoubtedly be a very long thirty days. Periphates tries bossing around Wonder Vivian like a slave, barking orders (taking off her boots, removing her costume etc...) and talking endlessly about his other visits to the world of mortals and how he's tormented other babysitters in the past, often with dire consequences. Wonder Vivian immediately stops the bratty behavior by telling Periphates that he's being *punished* for that same behavior, and she's not going to listen to his demands. Periphates' bad behavior reaches a zenith when he tries to trick Wonder Vivian into removing her god-crafted red-and-gold battle armor because it's 'dirty' and she easily sees through his games of trying to get her naked for his perverse enjoyment so in anger Periphates flings a glass of onto Wonder Vivian's costume, truly staining it. Holding back her redoubtable royal wrath, Wonder Vivian reins in her anger so that she doesn't break the arrogant pipsqueak in two.

Suggesting a different game for he and Wonder Vivian to play, Periphates suggests a mortal game called "cops and robbers" but since neither one of them likes those terms, Periphates suggests "heroes and villains" instead, which Wonder Vivian consents to. Periphates suggests that Wonder Vivian's golden lasso would end the game far too easily, so he recommends that she remove it for the duration of the game to keep things fair. Wonder Vivian at first refuses to part with her all-powerful 'weapon of justice' but then the godly man-servant of Hephaestus, the quasi-divine Phoebus (played in a small guest role by Nevada-based producer & rigger RenoBinder), arrives at the summoning of his Periphates and agrees (as a servant of the gods) to safeguard Wonder Vivian's lasso and not let Periphates (or any other god) take it or use it against Vivian. Sensing Phoebus' neutrality and loyalty to the pantheon, Wonder Vivian reluctantly unsnaps her lasso from her golden belt and hands it over to the mute Phoebus. Wonder Vivian also agrees to be tied up as long as it's not with her own magic lasso (confident that she can break any other type of binding) and so Phoebus has brought rope with him from Mt. Olympus for just such a task. The game of "heroes and villains" starts, and after a fake bank robbery, firefight, and a failed getaway attempt Wonder Vivian "captures" Periphates and subsequently is "defeated" using tired gas shortly afterwards and Wonder Vivian overdramatically "" on the bed, letting the impish god order her captured, stripped of her feminum bracelets so she can't deflect any more bullets from his "nd orders Wonder Vivian to be "tied up" for his perverse enjoyment.

As Wonder Vivian is being bound by Periphates and Phoebus to a large pole, she's more apprehensive about her situation since she's now missing her golden lasso *and* her magic bracelets. Fortunately, Wonder Vivian still has her super-strength and in an instant she can easily break through her bindings and defend herself if necessary. As Vivian is bound in a complex pattern of knots and loops to the post, firmly cinched down so that there's no way she can escape, the lustful Periphates orders Phoebus to strip Wonder Vivian of one last thing... her clothing! Deciding that enough is enough, Vivian declares the game over and flexes her powerful amazonian muscles to break the ropes and end this charade... but nothing happens! Giggling, Periphates tells Wonder Vivian that the 'rope' Phoebus used to bind Wonder Vivian with came from Mt. Olympus and from his step-father's blacksmith shop! The yellow rope Vivian has been bound with is the *original* strands of fiber that his step-father Hephaestus used to weave the unbreakable golden lasso from... and while lacking true magical power, are just as unbreakable! Realizing she's been tricked, Wonder Vivian instantly goes to work on freeing herself from the knots but Periphates orders Wonder Vivian held by Phoebus and brought before the tiny god for proper discipline and punishment. Great Hera! Is this the end of Wonder Vivian?
