As it's trying to pull her in, she actually manages to wriggle free. But The Plant doesn't give up that easily, and instead grabs her by the wrist so it can pull her in headfirst. Unable to fight back, all April can do is helpless kick her muscular calves for their last moments of exposure to the outside air before being pulled in for digestion for The Plant's nourishment.
