A thick foam curtain is moving in slow waves, something must be waiting under the surface to emerge, but what?

Finally Bubblegirl Mary appears, gasping for air. There is foam, tiny bubbles, everywhere! Her eyes, nose, ears, hair!

The director is trying to tell her what to do next but she can't get all the little bubbles out her ears. What now? She goes on disappearing and emerging from the super thick foam layer.
