First, some nice pedal pumping close ups while driving show just how these boots are. These Ralph Lauren boots look really out of place when worn in town. They have been absolutely wrecked. The fine leather is dirty, stained and scuffed. You can even see they have been through mud in the past. They've been worn through rough terrain which has torn up the leather heel coverings. And the click of high heels attracts quite a bit of attention when walking through this tropical tourist town where almost everyone else is in shorts and flip flops.
