Maya is sitting on a park bench, smoking a cigarette. Her long legs, are laid out on the bench. You see shots of her soles, that have crushed so many cigarettes before. She's inhaling clouds of smoke, spitting on the ground in between drags. When she's done, she grinds out her cigarette on the ground, I show you a shot of her soles with a new burn mark on them.
