Lisa is home at the breakfast table having a glass of and cigarette when her husband calls. They are severely in debt and he has gone to see the man that gave them a $35,000 loan and try to get an extension. Her husband tells Lisa that he could not get the loan extended, but he could get it forgiven entirely if Lisa and his step-son Tyler would agree to "work off" the debt.
