They start with tying some rather itchy rope around the balls, this is to make sure it heightens the sensation of subsequent decorations.

Squeezing and rubbing the rope creates friction on the skin.

They then torment the balls with sharp pinwheels across the tight balls.

Then it’s time for some real decorating, adding pegs to the balls – having such stretchy skin allows them to get so many on.
