Some matches have you licking your lips in anticipation long before the two combatants had even got anywhere near the MWC mats and this was the perfect example of such a contest!

Axel and Spice are as skilful and strong as they are gorgeous and fantastic to watch so as soon as we paired them off, fireworks and a fabulous fight was in prospect.

Spice has a size advantage but Axel isn’t fazed by such things and it was obvious both knew they would have to bring their A-game to take home an impressive and statement-making victory in this one.

They locked up and were soon staggering around the mats fighting hard to get an early advantage before they crashed to the floor and the battle continued.

As well as impressive attacking moves, both of these warriors are resilient and have strong defences so we knew submissions would not be handed out like confetti - they would both have to earn their stripes on this one!

We saw scissors, breast smothers, grapevines, arm locks, head locks pins and even some chat in between as Axel and Spice dug deep trying to avoid giving in to one another easily.

These two clearly hate losing as much as they love to show off their grappling talents so this made for a fabulous fight which had us on the edge of our proverbial seats as it unfolded in front of us.

Both girls enjoyed success and both girls were going all out for victory. That said, there was clearly a lot of respect for one another and the fight was carried out in a great spirit.

At the end, there was a narrow winner but you could see both Axel and Spice had left everything they had on the mats for this incredible encounter!
