This show was of course Miss Emily’s debut while Spice is certainly no stranger to the venue but as soon as they locked up and almost rolled right out of the ring, we knew this was an even battle about to unfold before our eyes.

They were tangled up and straining every ounce as they tried to put the pressure on and gain a submission in the early stages.

As it turned out, they both enjoyed success firstly Miss Emily with a head lock and then secondly, Spice with a body scissor and this really helped increase the heat and set the rest of the fight up very nicely indeed.

They were so well matched and that even as the submissions were earned in one’s favour, you knew the other would just dust herself down and get right back it!

We were treated to excellent body scissors, head locks, arm bars, tests of strength and combination holds as the initiative swung back and forth between both Spice and Miss Emily.

We were all on the edge of our seats watching this one as both of these super athletes gave it their all and left it all on the canvas right to the end.

Despite how hard fought it was, one of the girls managed to eek out a narrow victory and was delighted with her efforts. But both of them deserved the warm applause they got at the end!
