Phoenix wasn't quite sure what she was taking on when she locked up with Xana. In fact, Xana is one of the best lightweight grapplers around and after toying with her for a while, she proceeded to give Phoenix a masterclass in defensive moves, controlling manoeuvres and submissions. That said, Phoenix showed her strength and go-for-it attitude, managing to grab a submission from Xana. But Xana gained five tap-outs from her larger opponent with little difficulty and could probably have taken more if she had been fighting flat-out.
