The next scene brings us to a devastated Wynter who got sent home from work for her embarrassing skin rash. She calls Karen crying and starts coughing something fierce. Karen suggests going to the doctor, "Karen! We're in America! I can't just go to the doctor for a rash!" The next morning, the rash has spread more. Finally, she calls the doctor. She decides to shower to ease her anxiety. A nurse calls her back and asks what she's done to treat it- Wynter tells the nurse about the shower "No!! Heat accelerates it!!" Sure enough, Wynter is almost completely green!!! The nurse informs Wynter that she's pretty sure it's a curse, from that candle. Wynter is wary, but the nurse convinces her to try it. Wynter sits on the bed and lights the candle and some sage. She's willing to try anything! She notices she's getting even more green!!
