Adam arrives home after being out partying all night and Rich scolds him for being out, for leaving the house a mess, and for smoking in the house, and grounds him until further notice. Noticing that the young man is unshaved, in need of a shower, and his clothes are a mess, he orders him to get out of his clothes so they can be washed, and doesn't care that his friend Randy is present.
