An old man and her butler welcome her into the villa as if she were expected. The old man insists that she stay for the night. They even offer to have his car repaired in the morning. Alice is awakened in the middle of the night by a rumbling noise. The next day the car is there, with a new windshield. But Alice finds herself alone in the deserted house. After enjoying a good breakfast prepared for her, Alice jumps back into the car. She soon realizes that she cannot find the door of the country house she came from. A tree trunk appears to be in the way. Reluctantly, Alice returns to the old house. She then tries to make her way with her suitcase. In her attempt to do so, she Alice meets a young man who tells her to accept the fact that there is no way out. Is he in limbo? You have to spend a second night in the villa. The old man is there again and gives some explanations. The next day is a bright morning filled with birdsong. Once again breakfast is ready for her in her lonely house. She takes the car back and finds the path and the gate to the highway. Is she really out? Some other strange characters come close. Her windshield breaks again.
