The film, in my view, is a meditation on alienation in a period of increasing mass media saturation. The film artfully intertwines in a tangle of media moments, including TV, home cinema, radio, statistics, newsreels and newspapers. At one point watching the film, I deeply preferred the way Ferreri us to remember not only his man or woman's appointments with the media, but our own relationship with the media.
