Doctor Burke is in love with Ophelia but does not have time to propose a proposal as he sets out on a cruise in the Mediterranean. Also aboard the cruise ship is a friend from Burke's old school who plays "Dr. Dare" in a very popular TV series that women flock to. Burke decides to join the cruise, but is first arrested as a stowaway and then becomes the captain's butler. For Burke, trying to talk to Ophelia is a difficult enough task, but on board he meets some funny characters, such as a pool winner and a very stubborn captain.
