I went to the dentist fully prepared to have some kind of work done because I was in such discomfort but turns out I didn't need anything done that I had just chipped a tooth, chipped it hard enough to cause severe discomfort and swelling. While I was there I got my teeth cleaned so now they're nice and squeaky clean. Dentist said I have excellent teeth, I did take out my tongue ring on his recommendation as that is the most likely culprit to have caused the chip.
