As you see me beg for help, you slowly realize how helpless I am and enjoy the feeling of power it gives you. You could take me to the hospital, but you realize that since no one knows I'm here, you can do anything you'd like with me. You start wondering about the ways I could repay you for "protecting me" in this world too big for me (clean your shoes and dirty panties, lick your feet, +your choice). You raise your foot to silence my protests and tell me that it's the best I can hope for, now that I'm no longer a real human. You tell me to show my gratitude by licking your nylon-clad feet. You go on about how unfair it must feel for me to have caught the virus while you can go about your life free and happy. That I'll have to live under your rules (on my knees, +your choice) while you have fun. You then realize you have to go back out and decide to keep me in your shoe.
