State Trooper Smith (Rachel Adams) is part of a detail including Investigator Glenn and others attempting to exchange money for valuable evidence. On this occasion she is acting as the “bag-man” but was unable to make the exchange because the other party did not show up. She brings the money back to base to await further instructions. She reports to Inv. Glenn who checks the bag to see if the money is still all there. He sees that it is and formulates a plan to steal it. Eighty thousand dollars is a lot of money and the temptation is just too great to resist.
