World War II was not what Phillipa wanted. She enjoyed her cigarettes, drink, men and night clubs. Suddenly social pressure made her volunteer as an army driver. But the military life did not suit her. Getting up before lunch time was a whole new experience. Her commanding officer's patience finally ran out and she was sent to the unofficial punishment room.
