Mary's bottom throbs after her thrashing, but she has a surprise for Her Ladyship (played by Brigella). She has found a love letter from Her Ladyship to her toy boy. Suddenly power has transferred. She tells Her Ladyship that she will give the letter to His Lordship unless she takes the same punishment that Caruthers has just inflicted on her bottom. To the delight of the downstairs staff, Mary (played by Dublin) takes Her Ladyship down to the kitchen and thrashes her bottom. (CA169)
