After exercise, she hydrates and makes herself something in the kitchen before stepping outside on the patio to eat with casted leg comfortably raised and her toes warmed by the sun. Next, she gimps into the bathroom to brush her teeth and keeps her casted foot raised again on the sink for comfort. Then it’s back to the living room to check her toes which will be exposed the entire day again, so she wants them to be as comfortable as possible. Next, it’s time for the hardest part of her routine, trying to get her bulky heel bar cast into her jeans even with the leg cut off to accommodate it. She needs to put her casted foot in a clear plastic bag to slip it through. It’s the only time her cute little toes will be covered the entire day. Finally, she puts on her single sneaker, and a backpack so her hands are free -- to use her crutches. Then it’s off to deal with another day casted.
