Known for "getting the story" and wanting to keep her edge in hopes of landing a big Anchor position for one of the Big networks once she graduates from College, Veronica takes it upon herself to sneak into the back yard and house of the alleged criminal in hopes of finding evidence that will prove guilty or not guilty. Carefully tip toeing through the house in her Business suit complete with sexy pantyhose Veronica finds a folder on the kitchen table and in that folder she finds pictures of the stolen classic cars.

Veronica also finds notes w/ phone numbers and names of people, prices, etc., and she realizes that this is in fact her man, but before she can get too excited and respond she hears someone walk in the front door.

Veronica quickly hides in the hall closet, the man enters the kitchen and notices the file on the kitchen table is disheveled and is amiss, He starts looking around and snooping himself.

Veronica peers out the closet door, see's the Goon getting ready to walk into the garage and tries to make a run for it but he hears her and pounces on her immediately! The goon questions Veronica about who she is, why she is there and she repeatedly denies any wrong doing, she was looking for a friends house, made a mistake, blah, blah, but when the Goon asks her why she would need to "hide in the closet" of a friends house its, Checkmate!
