What better way to end the year with 2 things I love, being naked outside and putting a tent up knowing I will be camping soon! I am only wearing boots and a civil war period correct hat in preparation for my reenacting season. Sometimes thing get wet and moldy and what better time than now to put my tent up and get it ready. The catch is, this job is typically a 2 man job, not a 1 woman job but i'm up for the challenge to see if i can erect this canvas A-frame tent on my own. I must tie off the doors, beat the metal stakes into the ground and piece my wood together and then i'm ready to lift it up and hope it all works out in rising my accommodations for the weekend. I build up a nice sheen of sweat as I work on this mission at hand. Once i lift the wood up and manage to make my tent stay upright, I show you the inside where I live 3-4 days at a time. What better way to be one with nature than to have a grass floor and no zippers but only canvas separating me from the weather and nature. I love camping so much and i truly enjoy my hobby of Civil War Reenacting and i'm so glad I could show you in all my natural glory where I live when Im living off of whatever is cooked over a campfire before and after our battles of war. What a great end to 2018, and I hope you agree;)
