I was small for my age, weak, frail, timid and meek, beta. Singled out early on as the easy target for bullies to pick on. As we got older the bullying shifted from just physical to psychological torment and intense humiliation. I was shoved into lockers and locked in, given extreme wedgies. They threw food at me in the cafeteria. In high school we had an open campus with several buildings we had to walk from building to building between classes and in winter I was shoved into snowbanks and snow was stuffed down my pants. I was dragged into the bathroom and held upside down with my head in the toilet while it was flushed repeatedly, swirlied, many times. They'd steal my backpack and play keep-away while I tried hopelessly to get it back. It all happened in front of every pretty, popular girl I dreamed about, girls who were dating the very boys who bullied me. Girls who teased me. It was extremely humiliating and scarred me for life. Please take me back there and remind me of that pain, shame, and humiliation. Tell me how much I deserved it and how the girls I lusted for were rewarding my bullies for me. They thought I was a pathetic nerd, a reject and a loser. They loved watching their Manly Jock boyfriends putting the wimp in his place. Please don't imply that I love this, just that I deserve it.
