I move to the back of the safe house and use the safe noise every dumb thug uses, a bird call. The witness pokes his head out and I assure him it's safe.

I give him the good news, evidence mishandling, blah blah blah, both cases are being dismissed, his and the case against the cartel. He will be a free man, but he will not be a safe man.

They will send the black widow, ya know? You'll need to go into protective custody. Continue feeding me information and I will relocate you and keep you guarded and safe.
