Than Odette realizes the problem is the suggestions didn't take. But she knows that her post trigger to go under whenever she kisses him probably still works so she apologizes and gets very close, enticing him to "kiss and make up" so to speak. He tries to resist but as her lips grow closer he can't resist and kisses her. Then his eyes close and his chin slumps to his chest and he mindlessly obeys her commands.
