Access points are vulnerable areas, it's where there is physical access to the network and most of the time they are hidden behind walls and such like but if one was to be found and used by someone bad that person would be able to see everything that goes on. From what sites were visited to what was typed, all passwords and cookies could become available and it could have negative impact of the owner of that network or the intended victim.
