I'm giving a friend of mine a couple of balloons for her birthday - one attached to a card and one attached to a present. At least, that's what I intended to do - until I got so carried away with these balloons I decided I might keep them for myself. While blowing and deflating the second balloon I noticed that the static charge on the first one was so strong it was sticking to my chest and to my arms without me doing anything more with it!
