John Marsh gets in over his head, again. This time he steps into some bottomless muck and instantly realizes his mistake. He struggles against the sucking muck until he is too exhausted to keep fighting. He calls out for help, but nobody can hear him. He slowly disappears as he loses his battle with the quicksand. He gasps for air as the mud closes over his face. We see his hands reach for the surface after he goes under, then all we see are bubbles, as he expels the air from his lungs.
