Doug is back in the swamp, exploring a muddy inlet. He is bare-footed in skin-tight jeans. This clip opens as he pulls his canoe through the shallow water. After discovering that it is really difficult to navigate the deep mud, he climbs onto a slippery log and walks carefully down the log with his bare, muddy feet. He steps off the log where the mud seems to be shallower but, after a few steps, he sinks quickly up to his thighs. He finds his leg is trapped by a submerged log, and he can't get out. As he struggles desperately to free himself, he continues to sink deeper.
