If I don't take the medicine when I get my period, it gets brutal. The pain is so bad that I can't stand, sit or lie still. The sharp spasms that grip my tormented stomach make me bend over, grabbing it with my hands, trying to relieve the suffering. But that hardly helps. The pain is still unbearable. I try to press my constricted abs with my fists to stop them from contracting. But, I can't stop those involuntary contractions. If only I could.
