After coming to, our intrepid shrunken sweetie sees Miss Sophia on the verge of hysterics after the very sudden and mysterious departure of her boyfriend. Unable to handle being in the same hotel in which she was supposedly abandoned, she packs up all her belongings and checks into a hotel across town. Shrunken sweetie, in a last ditch effort, now concentrates on getting his love to notice him, an immeasurably difficult task given that he is now less than an inch tall. He scales the huge suitcase and throws himself inside just in time as Miss Sophia zips up the luggage and leaves. He has a nice long ride in all her clothes to think about how he is going to get her attention.
As she checks into the hotel and gains access to the room, she begins to unpack. He tries desperately to catch her eye. Caught up in her laundry he is transported into a waiting drawer full of her undergarments. He is swamped and surrounded and fights for his life as not to be completely buried and in the towering mounds of heavy fabric. He struggles to get out of the drawer just in the nick of time as Sophia, still unaware of her miniature travel companion, closes the drawer. Left scrambling on top of the dresser, he frantically signals Sophia as she finishes unpacking the rest of her outfits into the dresser. It's no use. He doesn't know if it is because he is so small or she is just blinded by sorrow.
Running back and forth on top of the dresser to draw attention to himself, he trips and falls off the side of the dresser and on to the floor. He tries his best to follow her around the hotel room on a dangerous trek that has him barely escaping being crushed a few times. As Sophia touches up her makeup in the mirror, our intrepid shrinkie crawls up the hairdryer cord until he summits the sink countertop to gain her attention. Why won't she? Why can't she see him? She is still unaware of his presence.
He can see that if she is ever going to notice him, he will need to resort to drastic measures. Those drastic measures will most certainly put him in harms way. He is desperate now. He must get her to see him! As she begins to turn and leave the sink, he jumps from the countertop and onto the back of her dress and clings on for dear life as he dangles stories above the ground below. His grip soon fails and he drops to the floor, rolling and tumbling.
Shaking off the near experience, he sees Miss Sophia has taken to the chair to recline and relax and collect her thoughts. Now is his chance! He hops on her foot and begins to scale her leg. Feeling a little tickle, Sophia swats at and brushes her leg. It almost knocks him off but he is fueled by a larger purpose and he is determined. He again begins his monumental ascent. Finally, perched upon her knee, he yells as loud as he can and frantically waves his arms. "Please see me, Sophia. You HAVE to!"
Then, all of a sudden, Sophia looks down, focuses her eyes and...screams!
