There have been a slew of unsolved missing persons cases lately, and reporter Archie Lee is determined to find out what's been going on. She drives to the part of town where the people have gone missing, and comes across an abandoned house. The door is open, so she walks in & enters the living room. She sits down on the couch & notices a strange monster laying there. He's cute & seemingly harmless, so she reaches down to pet him.
