Once she's got the job Beatrice prepares for a regular day at the office which means using her hated crutches to get to work so that her reinforced toe hose on her bad otherwise bare foot won't shred before she even gets to the office! As usual she pulls her single heel off to deal with stairs and then puts it back on. Unfortunately without a sock for protection the big toe portion of her hose, the only part that typically touches the ground thanks to her achilles heel problem starts to rip because she cheats on her sticks and puts that foot down on the ground to balance it.
