Verawonder's sprained foot is so bad she can't wear a regular shoe and has to walk around in one flip flop. Actually walk is an exaggeration as she has trouble even doing that and often hops around on her good foot. Her friend Candy offers to help by holding her flip flop foot up while Verawonder hops around on her one good booted foot.
