The nurse sets up the machine and produces the first round. The patient's body reacts on the bed, and her pulse falls back to normal rhythm, but a few seconds later starts racing again. The med team sets up the defibrillator again. The second round has the same effect. The doctor listens to Angie's heartbeat with the steth and hears the machine beeping. Her heartbeat is far from OK. They must perform many more rounds of defib her, but there is still no response. After a big jolt, Angie's heart flatlines. The doctor starts CPR immediately. They leave the AED pads on her chest, and after few cycles of CPR they shock her again, but there is still no response. The medical team continues the resus procedure with many more cycles of AED and CPR. Finally the patient's pulse returns to normal. It looks like a normal sinus rhythm.
