(English) Cheerleader Barbie enters the ER with symptoms of dizziness and a fast heart rate. The med examines her, checking Bp, pupils, neck, and throat. They ask about her vitals and health history too. They then perform a detailed lung and heart auscultation exam with stethoscope on her chest and back. Unfortunately, her pulse, breathing rate and level of fear increases. She feels bad and needs help. The med team places an O2 mask and hooks her up to a 3-lead heart monitor but soon they realize they must use a 12 lead ECG exam too. During the exam Barbie’s heart rate and breathing increases significantly. They try to calm her, but it does not work works. Suddenly her eyes roll back, and she seizes. The med team tries to handle the situation, but the patient goes to Vfib. The med team starts CPR immediately with strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. After a few cycles, the medical team uses the defibrillator. They perform a short series of defibs and after the second one Barbie’s pulse returns to normal rhythm again.
