Suddenly her heart flat lines. The medical team runs in and starts CPR immediately, the defibrillator is charged and the patient’s pulse returns following the shock. The medical team cleans up her chest and lets her breath through the respirator. A few minutes later the patient’s heart flat lines again. The med team runs in again and starts the resuscitation procedure with CPR, and ambu bagging thru the ET tube. The defibrillator is charged and the patient is shocked but there is no response. The medical team continues the resuscitation procedure with many cycles of CPR, bagging and shocks until the patient’s pulse returns at last.
