Brandy gasps heavily for air and in the next few seconds her heart Vfibs. The med team starts the resus procedure with CPR and ambu bagging. They switch the AED to manual paddles. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response after the first round. They continue resuscitation with strong chest compressions and more defib. They begin using the ResQCPR Pump on the patient. They perform many more cycles of resus when finally the patient's heartbeat returns to normal sinus rhythm. She now ready for transport to the hospital.
