They check her BP, and listen to her heart with a steth. They hooks her up to the 9 leads heart monitor. Everything is ready, and Hannah's heart rate immediately starts rising. She starts breathing faster and is a little bit scared because of this strange feeling coming over her. The med team repeats this process a few more times and the patient’s heart rate moves dramatically higher. She gasps for air. The med team places the O2 mask onto her face and tries to calm her. Hannah loses control of herself, and her heart rate is too fast to maintain her circulation. Her body starts to seize. The med team starts ambu bagging her but her heart flatlines! The med team starts a dramatic resus procedure with CPR (deep and strong chest compressions) on the open-eyed patient and removes her pants. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the first round. A very graphic and dramatic resus scene occurs with the patient’s eyes open, the team switches places for very deep and strong CPR. Soon they intubate her and continue with more defibs.
