They want her for just one more flight a few hours from now. She gets to her room and takes pills for the energy she will sorely need. In the next scene, she's in med facility at the airport because the pills did not have the expected effect. she is feeling high, has the shivers and can’t control herself. She is very aggressive with the med team in the airport while they check her vitals and give her something for her symptoms to calm her before the flight. Sonja lays down on the bed and her breathing gets deeper and deeper and then goes flat. When the nurse comes back to check Sonja’s heart she has unexpectedly flat lined. Nurse Emily starts to check her vitals and call to her loudly but there is no response. Sonja is not breathing and has no pulse. She calls for help. The medical team comes in and starts the resuscitation procedure immediately. They remove her bra and skirt, hook her up to the heart monitor and start ambu bagging her and immediately beginning CPR. The defibrillator is charged but there is no response following the shock. They continue the resus procedure. When there is no response following many cycles of defibs and CPR they start to intubate her and then continues the resus procedure. They must perform a LOT of cycles of CPR and defibrillations until FINALLY the patient’s pulse returns. When they are sure she is stable, they extubate her.
