They inserts IV, place the BP cuff and hook her up to a heart monitor with 3 leads. They perform a resus procedure with ambu bagging and CPR. Then they place the AED pads onto her chest. The AED is charged but there is no response following the shock. They continue the resus procedure with many cycles of CPR - bagging and many AED shocks. Later they intubate her and continue the resuscitation. Following many more AED shocks and more cycles of CPR the patient's pulse returns. Kiara is now ready to transport to the trauma center.
