They try to help her out of the bed and sit to the wheelchair but when she stands up she collapses and falls to the floor wit no pulse. The med team starts resuscitation with CPR and ambu bagging. They cut off her nightshirt and place the AED pads onto her chest. The machine is charged but there is no response following the shock. They continue the resus procedure with many cycles of strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. They shock her heart with the AED but there is no response. They realize they will need to transport this patient to the hospital in this condition, so they must use the LUCAS thumper. First they intubate her, then prep the machine. When it is set the nurse starts the machine and the mechanical chest compressions begin. The med team waits for some responses. They pause the CPR and defib her with the Lucas on with no responses The CPR then continues. They repeat more cycles of CPR and shock then start to prep the patient for the hospital with Lucas still attached to her body.
