(English) Suzy's ECT story continues . As the ECT continues the patient is ready for another shock. The electrodes are placed and her mouth is protected with a gauze band. As the doctor closes the circuit, Suzy's face and body tense dramatically. After the shock, her body starts to twitch and she stops breathing! The med team places the O2 mask back on her face and starts to stimulate her to breath. She produces a few really large gasps but after that her heart flat lines.
