The small med team starts the emergency resus procedure and calls for help. They perform CPR, then nurse Kelly brings the defibrillator too but there is no response after the shock. In the ER, the med team tries everything to bring Vera back. Following a few cycles of CPR and defibrillations her pulse returns but her vitals are not stable. She gasps for air, and the med team checks her vitals, but very soon her heart flat lines again. The med team continues the resus procedure with CPR and uses a CPR board and more defibrillations. They intubate the patient as well and use 3M defib pads under the paddles. Following many more dramatic cycles of CPR - bagging and defibs the patient's pulse returns and she looks stable.
