Harlan waits for Betty to arrive, as she has been removed from gym class for the day for 'failure to participate'. Betty, seeing how bruised Harlan already is, decides to take it easy on her, and uses a leather strap over her thin gym leggings. Harlan is then placed in time out. Betty steps out to check on another student, and Harlan takes the opportunity to do exactly what Betty told her NOT to do.
