Mistress Katharinas pony is already saddled and got the snaffle in his mouth, ready for a long ride in the forest. The pony cant keep up with Mistress Katharinas desired speed, so its pure for the pony to keep on going. You can see, how exhausted the pony is during the ride and especially in the end. Mistress Katharina dismounts three times to fix the saddle, always kicking the pony for it.
