I always know I'm getting sick because my nose gets stuffed up and my throat gets sore. To get some relief later, when I'm really sick, I always go straight to the AlkaSeltzer. It doesn't stop me from getting sick, or fully clear the stuffed nose and sore throat, but it helps a little and the carbonation feels good.
